Where to go on a trip with a dog: Bíle Karpaty - Nová Lhota (18 km)
Thanks for the post Verča!
Route:
The trip is approximately 18 km (you can also start from other places and thus you can shorten or extend the trip). The shortest way to the top is from Kamenná bouda.
Elevation: 524 m
Surface: the road was both forest and field. A few sections are asphalt.
Place:
Our journey started at Kubíková vrch (free parking available). A short distance from there, a bus goes to the top of Velká Javořina. Accommodation is possible at the Háj hotel (located below Kubík Hill). Per night per dog - 300 CZK.
Attractions:
You will enjoy the beauty of the White Carpathians throughout the trip. Forests, meadows, streams and wells accompany you all the way. During the trip, you will cross the state border with Slovakia several times. The most famous points in the vicinity are Havraní waterfall, Šibenický hill, Velký Lopeník and Veličky spring.
Refreshment:
Food and drink can be bought in the Nové Lhoty Municipal Pub or in the already mentioned Hotel Háj. Then up to the top near the transmitter Velká Javořina (Holubyho chata). We personally were not in the cottage, but we saw dogs there, so I infer that it is dog friendly.
