Hi, I'm Kipp!

I’m from Ireland, where I was born, raised and worked my paws off as a professional racing greyhound.

And I was good at it.

I was flying down the track, winning race after race. Nobody could keep up with me. But then I got older… and when I stopped bringing home the wins, my owner decided he didn’t want me anymore. And let’s just say, I wasn’t exactly treated like a top dog.

Luckily, I found my way to Jakub from the Czech Republic. He discovered me through Chrti v nouzi, an organisation that rescues greyhounds like me who are left without a chance.

When I arrived from Ireland, I was far from my best. Not in body, and not in mind either. Years of racing had taken a toll on my bones and joints, and I wasn’t used to trusting humans or receiving the love and care every dog deserves.

So, what helped me get back on my paws?

My new human, Jakub, runs a lab where he creates special goodies for dogs. He knew exactly what my body needed and what would help me feel like myself again.

Within just a few weeks, my nerves started to settle. I became more comfortable around people, my joints got the support they needed, and my tired bones started getting stronger. My whole body finally felt better, and little by little, I learned how to enjoy life beyond the racing track.
