Route

The route was 10.1 km long, but we chose the shortest possible route to the lookout tower because it was terribly hot. Longer routes can also be chosen.

Place

It is possible to go up to the lookout tower from the surrounding villages. We chose to leave the place: Restaurant Chata Tesák , where there were plenty of free parking spaces. When we came back, at least we got a reward in the form of a fryer and we enjoyed it a lot.

The way to the lookout tower

From the place where we parked, we went along the yellow and then a short distance along the green. There were wonderful views on the way, although the sun came out for us, but it was terribly hot. We hardly met any tourists, that was very pleasant. At the top we came across blackberries, so we had a snack. We would appreciate a small stream on the way, but unfortunately there is nothing anywhere.
The path was pleasant and well paved, but the climb was difficult, I do not recommend it for families with children, they would probably struggle. At the top of the observation tower, we were surprised that there were two caddy booths, which we have not seen elsewhere. The way back was more pleasant than the way there, but we didn't miss the climb either.
After completing our journey, we had refreshments, the food was excellent, but the staff didn't do much to ask about water for the dogs - nothing. We preferred to get it ourselves.
We really liked the trip, the nature is beautiful. We recommend!
